Personal Description:

Hello! I hold a bachelor of science in Environmental Science with a minor in English, from Concordia University of Edmonton. Since graduating I have worked as a technical writer and an environmental scientist. I am able to teach a variety of subjects at all learning levels and education levels.

Tutoring Experience:

I was an au pair in Italy for half of a year, teaching English, Math and Science to two children full time. I have worked at my university as a reader and scribe for students with learning difficulties, and as well, I have tutored throughout my university career in the math and sciences from elementary school levels to university levels.

Tutoring Approach:

I am a laid back tutor that prompts students to recall what they can remember. I always let the student take the first crack at it and then walk them through where they may have gone wrong. I am a practice makes perfect type of tutor and encourage students to come back to a question if they are at first not understanding. I am super patient and try to teach to the student and show alternate methods for finding the correct answer.
