Personal Description:

I work as a tutor because I believe in the power of education to change lives and the ability of individuals to learn. As an English tutor, my experience with special education gives me insight into numerous effective teaching strategies that can help students of all ability levels. I am able to lead sessions that are oriented around the needs of individual learners. I work to improve my teaching abilities so that I can grow to become more and more effective.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in Media and Communications. I am also a current graduate student where I am studying Teaching Urban Adolescents with Disabilities. I work as a high school Special Education English teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

A key aspect of my philosophy is that every student deserves an education. I strive to communicate that to every student as an English tutor while leading sessions that help students learn in the most effective ways for them.
