Personal Description:

I teach math, physics, chemistry, computer science, java and math test preparation for SAT, ACT, SAT 2, and AP. I have completed Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur, India. I tutor on weekday evenings, weekends and holidays. I mainly tutor online.

Tutoring Experience:

I teach math to all levels of students. I teach math courses like elementary math, Prealgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, AP Calculus AB, Trigonometry, SAT Subject Tests in Math Level 1/ Level 2 etc.

I tutor students for science courses like Physics, Chemistry, AP Physics 1 and 2, SAT Subject tests in Physics and Chemistry.

I teach math, physics, chemistry, and computer science to International Baccalaureate (IB) students as well. I teach MYP Math, Math SL/HL, Math Studies SL, computer science SL/HL, Chemistry SL, Physics SL/HL.

I prepare students in math and science for tests like SAT, ACT, PSAT, ISEE, SSAT, PSSA, Keystone, GED, AFOQT, ASVAB.

I am an experienced computer software professional. I teach Computer Science and Java as well.

Tutoring Approach:

Understanding concepts in any subject is most important followed by test taking and study skills. If asked, I can give additional homework to the student since practice is also important to gaining knowledge. They help improve the grades of the students. This is evident in student feedback that I have received.
