Personal Description:

Hi, My name is Peter! I'm 19 years old and have recently graduated from Ontario Virtual School with Honors. I am a hard worker, a motivated person and a problem solver. I'm constantly seeking ways in which I can help students in order to reach their full potential, either by adapting to the students learning pace and set of skills or by reviewing, going over, and repeating the necessary material(s) in order to make sure we are efficient and effective. Besides teaching, I really enjoy playing a game of basketball, going out for a walk in nature and socializing.

Tutoring Experience:

I don't have any teaching experience however, I have helped out my younger siblings with their afterschool homework.

Tutoring Approach:

Clear communication makes for an effective lesson. Firstly, by getting to know the student personally like what they need help with, their level of knowledge on the given lesson and what they would like to go more in depth with is key. To keep the student focused during the lesson , the materials that need to be explained have to be fun and constructive so that the student also is involved in order to reach the solution.
