Personal Description:

Hello! I'm a third year student at McMaster University studying English and French. I'm passionate about language and am well versed in English composition and discourse analysis. While I was in high school, I completed a Certificate in French Language Studies through the Extended French Program (grade 7-12). I'm planning on attending Teacher's college after I complete my undergraduate degree.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored several high school students in English and am familiar with the Ontario curriculum requirements. I'm also in the midst of completing a minor in French, and have experience tutoring Intermediate French (Grade 4-8) as well as 9th grade French.

Tutoring Approach:

Every student learns differently. Thus, I tailor my techniques to their needs and capabilities. I prioritize instilling genuine understanding and knowledge of subject matter. I'm passionate about education and strongly believe that the most effective method of achieving success within your students is to foster resilience within them by exercising patience and being attentive to their own cognitive process.
