Personal Description:

I am a data-crunching guy who loves to solve the problem and make life simple. Currently working in Toronto, Ontario as Senior Data Analyst with one of the major banks. With an Engineering Bachelors (B.Tech) and a Masters degree (MIS.) in Business Strategy and Analytics from the University of Toronto, I have good command in maths, science, computers, and English. Engineering gave me analytical mindset while masters taught me the art of how to understand people needs and address them. I have been a university topper in my undergraduate as well as scored a perfect GPA in my masters from U of T.I try to help my friends and colleague understand difficult concepts, which has helped me realize my passion for teaching and it makes me happy.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to observe how the student is thinking about the problem and find creative ways to lead them in the right direction.

Normally, I break the problems into smaller chunks which make the task simple and easy to interpret for example If a student sees a "busy" and complicated-looking formula and just gives up, I will break it down piece by piece until the student understands the details and feels comfortable with it.

Also, I believe in the art of visualization and relating things to our daily life as it helps to retain more in memory then what we hear.
