Personal Description:

I excel at teaching math and test prep, though I offer guidance in a variety of other subjects. I work patiently with students as I pinpoint obstacles that may be stopping them from understanding the material. By allowing students to make mistakes, they can develop stronger critical thinking skills as well.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in International Relations with a minor in Arabic. While at university, I served as president of the Debate Team and provided tutoring services on campus. I have scored in at least the 98th percentile on many standardized tests, including the ACT and LSAT.

Tutoring Approach:

When I work with students, I aim to help them succeed on their own accord. Rather than providing the answers, I work with students to fill in knowledge gaps and hone their strengths. From the first day, I work 1-on-1 with my students to identify both short-term and larger academic goals to determine a solid plan for math tutoring.
