Personal Description:

My greatest passion in life is teaching. I was born and raised in India, and experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be.
I have worked with children my entire life, from babysitting to daycare to tutoring to teaching. I have tutored a range of students from the elementary level to the high school level.
Math and Science has always been my strength and I enjoy watching students understand the concepts from my examples and connections. My quick and comfortable rapport with my students allows them to feel comfortable to ask for help and understand the content. I have always loved working with children and looks forward to all of their 'Aha!' moments.

Tutoring Experience:

My extensive tutoring experience began during undergraduate years at engineering College. I began teaching engineering students in my final semester and have been tutoring ever since with minor breaks. My major students are 6th to 10th graders who need to form sound fundamentals in science and math. I have also tutored 1st to 5th grade students in literacy and math.
I am currently working with different levels of students in school who are struggling with Math, Science and English. I have worked with special education students, gifted students, and all students in between.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that every child can learn, no matter what circumstances each faces. I develop a relationship with each student that helps inspire them to want to learn on a daily basis and makes learning fun.
I also desire that all my students become enthusiastic lifelong learners and I guide them to develop the critical thinking skills necessary to be confident, successful and contributing participants in our world.
