Personal Description:

I had to instruct patients on their course of treatment and relay info on how medications affect the body as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a specialty hospital. I enjoyed that part of my job so much that I quickly became a math tutor who emphasized critical thinking skills to help students in my spare time. I strive to make learning an enjoyable activity because we naturally retain more information about positive experiences.

Tutoring Experience:

I have considerable experience tutoring students in subjects such as math and science and am currently studying to become a physician. I also have strong interpersonal skills from my time as a research coordinator that will help me forge a connection with my students.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that many students benefit from hearing themselves explain the solution to a problem out loud, so I frequently encourage my students to detail how they solved a problem before moving on to the next one.
