Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Nikoo, and I am currently a 4th year engineering student at the University of Toronto. I am passionate about STEM topics and spend the majority of my time studying and working on them, but I also love English and literature and am just as happy spending time teaching you math as I am discussing literary works and essays.

Tutoring Experience:

I have done a lot of casual tutoring of family and friends, and was also a part of my high school tutoring club for some time. I enjoy making seemingly complex topics become simple, and am always so happy when I am able to help someone get to the point where they understand a topic. I'm excited to do my best and teach you all as well!

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to try and ensure a good grasp on the fundamental topics before trying to teach anything new. I am a strong believer that a solid foundation is the most important thing, and will do my best to ensure that that foundation is understood by every student. Whether this means doing a lot of examples, visual demonstrations, or testing out simulations, I will do my best to ensure students understand what they are working with, the purpose of it, and what they can do with their knowledge.
