Personal Description:

I have years of experience adapting my instructional style to match each student's learning strengths so that each of my students can experience success. As an English tutor, I can work with students on phonics, high school English, and more. I can also help students prepare for the English and Language skills of standardized exams.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and have seven years of experience working as a teacher and tutor for students from preschool age through grade 12. I'm a certified Special Education Teacher and I focus on teaching to each student's strengths. I use different methods of tutoring so each student has the opportunity to learn.

Tutoring Approach:

I have the skills and patience that each student deserves. It's important to me that my students experience success on a daily basis, both in the academic and the social spheres. When I first meet with a student, I find out where they are at in the applicable subject so I can begin with them where they are.
