Personal Description:
I am an RECE (registered early childhood educator). I have been working with the Toronto Catholic District School Board for 4 years and have been an RECE for 6 years. I have a passion for working with children in elementary school as well as preparing children in preschool for kindergarten.
Tutoring Experience:
RECE with the TCDSB since 2017
Preschool teacher from 2015-2017
Private tutoring for one child from 2019-2020
Taught Kindergarten online 2020-2021
Tutoring Approach:
I will use manipulatives and media to teach a tutoring session. At the beginning of each session will be a review from previous lessons as well as identifying areas of need and approaching each need with a plan on how to make the student successful. I will provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere and make sure the student is comfortable with everything we learnt.
