Personal Description:

My name is Mona.
I graduated from Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, France, last year, where I studied Modern letters. This course of studies includes literature, linguistics and teaching French as a foreign language. I recently completed a certificate from the Alliance française as a teacher of French as a foreign language. The Alliance française is present in many countries, teaching French all around the world.
I am also fluent in English, having been raised in both official languages in Canada. Therefore, I can also teach English as well as English as a second language. I am currently an online teacher of both English and French as a second language, teaching adults and college students via Zoom. I am also studying for my Master's degree in linguistics.

Tutoring Experience:

I teach English and French as a second language, as well as French for native speakers to adult learners. My private students so far have included adults in the workforce who need better language skills for their jobs, as well as college and university students who need help with their studies.

Tutoring Approach:

When teaching a second language, my main focus is on conversation. In all cases, active participation is key to my teaching method.
