Personal Description:

I am able to help students make the most of their academic opportunities during personalized sessions. I have a knowledge of many high-level topics from biochemistry to molecular biology that I can bring into sessions as a chemistry tutor. I want to be a chemistry tutor because I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and helping them succeed. I can also help students get ready for the Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems portion of the MCAT.

Tutoring Experience:

I hold a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics. I also have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology. I have one year of chemistry tutoring experience, and I was also a Teaching Assistant for five years.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in using guided inquiry which is a process in which I work alongside a student as they investigate the most relevant to interesting material to them. This encourages them to learn and solve problems on their own.
