Personal Description:

I have been teaching for 14 years at varying levels from junior grades to secondary.
I have a visual arts specialist degree from York University and have a love and passion for the arts including photography.

I enjoy watching the Raptors and enjoy playing basketball and soccer with my son.

I have tutored privately for 10 of those years and provided lessons in visual arts to adults and teens.

Tutoring Approach:

Very patient and visual learning experiences are most important for students. I use technology to keep students engaged and music to help students to remember difficult concepts; especially in content heavy courses like history.

I ensure my students are engaged and make personal connections to content in order to retain information.
With regards to essay writing, the foundations are necessary and I greatly promote reading and exposure to various forms of writing in order to better your own.
