Personal Description:

I am currently teaching French Immersion at Ventura Park Public School. I completed her Honours Bachelor of French Studies and Bachelor of Education and specialized in teaching intermediate and senior grades. I am a polyglot; I speak Russian, English, French, and Spanish and love learning and analyzing grammar and literature in all four languages.
I have extensive experience in informal education and has taught theatre, journalism, and media in summer camps and in various conferences. Aside from teaching and languages, my hobbies include volunteering with animals, cinema, hiking and cooking.
I am currently completing my Master's degree in Education at the University of Ottawa (online).

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught Grade 2 French Immersion for 5 years. I have also taught Caeers, ESL, and Spanish in high schools for practicum. I tutored Grades 1-12 French Immersion for 3 years.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in a flexible, respectful approach to students. Each person thinks differently, understand information in various ways, and needs resources that would help him/her learn in the best way possible. I am very creative and resourceful when it comes to teaching students of all ages and learning styles.
