Personal Description:

Hello!

I'm a children's Fantasy author and two of my favorite subjects are creativity and language. I've been both an artist and a writer for years and have studied for both quite thoroughly. I really enjoy helping people to express their ideas regardless of the medium.

Tutoring Experience:

I've been a creative writing coach and creative writing instructor since 2015, helping many young writers find their voice and hone their storytelling skills. As an academic, I regularly use analytical writing for papers and research. As a TA at Queen's University, I have helped many students support their arguments with evidence and express their thoughts with clarity. Academic and creative writing are both fueled by one thing: knowing exactly what it is you're trying to say!

Tutoring Approach:

As a visual person, I use many visual tools to help students to absorb the information and work through the material. I like using games and puzzles to help student to retain information and have fun while they're at it.
