Personal Description:

I graduated from UBC majoring in Psychology and Minoring in Religious Studies in 2003. I then went on to complete my Diploma In Counselling, Certification as a Life Coach, and my Diploma in Youth Probation at the Justice Institute. However, throughout this time, I have continued my business as an Educator and my passion for teaching and empowering youth.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring for 20 years in the North Shore and Greater Vancouver areas. I specialize in all areas of Science and Math as well as a broad range of other subjects. I have worked as a Youth Worker and Youth Counsellor since 2003. As such, I contract myself to work within the communities to help guide and redirect youth in being proactive in both their lives as well as in their communities. I have worked as an Educator in the North Shore, Burnaby and downtown Vancouver areas since the year 2000, and have worked with over 188 students in a broad range of subjects, with a special attention to math and Sciences.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a passion for empowering and teaching youth to excel in their educational endeavours and life skills. I also do executive tutoring which focusses on time management, goal setting, and action-taking. Further, I work with and specialize in Learning Differences and behavioural disorders. Building on the youths fundamental relationships with their parents, peers and teachers, I help ensure that the youth I work with in these situations feel safe and are empowered to strive and move happily forward.
