Personal Description:

Hello! My name is Nav. It has always been one of my aspirations to be able to assist kids in their education and assist them in reaching their full potential with correct guidance, as many of my own instructors have done for me, and in turn, changed the trajectory of my education. They would listen carefully, offer assistance while challenging me to learn, and explain topics in efficient ways that would result in a thorough understanding and foundation. This is exactly what I'd like to accomplish for students, to make their life simpler and happier during these difficult times. I am particularly specialized in Math and Chemistry.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked as a tutor for the past three years at various teaching institutions, including university, highschool, and local companies providing tutoring services. I am experienced with teaching students in all areas of academics (K-12), as well as disadvantaged students in elementary education. I am particularly specialized in Math and Chemistry, but I am experienced teaching English and Physics up until the secondary level.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is grounded in patience, clarity, and empathy. I believe in creating personalized learning plans for each student, recognizing that growth takes time and that perseverance and the ability to learn from mistakes are key to long-term success. I break down concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand parts and adjust the pace according to each student’s needs. Open communication is essential, so I maintain honest and supportive dialogue with both students and parents to ensure that any external factors or concerns are addressed. I focus on celebrating small wins, as they build confidence and lay the foundation for deeper understanding. Above all, I aim to provide a safe, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and staying motivated to learn.
