Personal Description:

Hola, my name is Malu. Half English and half Spanish. I hold a BA in English Linguistics. Literature and History and a Masters in Marketing and Foreign Trade. Broad experience teaching Spanish at all levels: Business Spanish, Conversation, Spanish for kids learning Spanish, Spanish for small kids.
I am also a voice-over actor for Spanish companies requiring a neutral accent.
Due to my professional experience, I can adapt to many different levels.
I enjoy people and seeing them improve their Spanish level.

You will have fun and learn Spanish at the same time!

Tutoring Experience:

Started teaching Spanish during my university years in Madrid, Spain. Continued as a Spanish teacher in Vienna, Austria and Montreal, Canada. My students were from different backgrounds:
- Interested in conversation
- Business Spanish teacher of Dominique Anglade during her tenure as CEO of MTL International
- Children of Spanish families that want extra Spanish classes for their children
- Students interested in learning the language

Tutoring Approach:

I divide the class time into 2 block or 3 blocks (1 hour): grammar, reading + writing and conversation. I fully believe that a grammar foundation is needed to succeed in a language. We go through a grammar explanation and do exercises. In conversation, we cover the topics related to the student's needs.
Don't worry if grammar is not your thing.I have a lot of experience teaching Spanish!
