Personal Description:

I believe as a tutor it is my obligation to teach my students how to think critically and become independent learners. I like to encourage people to reach higher and try to succeed, and I try to make my lessons very engaging so as to keep the attention of my students focused on our work.

Tutoring Experience:

I have received my undergraduate degree. I am a math tutor and can teach elementary school math, math at the high school level, and SSAT prep. In my experience, tutoring works best when you can establish a positive relationship with the tutor, and I try to encourage that by being a positive person and maintaining a friendly attitude.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm a big believer in having no set methodology. Instead, what I do is try everything that I can think of, and go with what works. Because every student is unique, I do not believe there is one set best strategy for tutoring, instead, you have to try different things and be versatile and ready to adapt.
