Personal Description:

Hello folks,
I, Kriti have been working for the Ontario Government (as an Audit Analyst) since 2016. I am a graduate from University of Guelph where I pursued Honors Bachelors of Business Administration. I know well how tough studies can be if not given proper guidance and care. I am an easy going tutor. I got 90.5% in my Grade 12 and topped my school in course English. My GPA at the University of Guelph Humber was 3.3/4.0.
At the age of eight, I wrote a story which brought me the prestigious Mr. President`s Award (Sir A.P.J Abdul Kalam- Ex President of India). So far in my life I have studied sincerely and never considered books as monsters. Studying and teaching always comes as an easy task for me. So, my word of advice for all young and talented minds out there is to start nurturing a passion for books/reading (books can be a man's best friend). Just trust their power of knowledge and explore the world of information.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring kids since I was in Grade 10. Since then, I have taught over 70 pupils from Elementary to High-School. I have taught subjects like English, Social Science, Math and the most recent one was teaching a group of 7 students- different courses in Business and Accounting (Grade 12 and University students).
I specialize in tutoring for the preparation of English Proficiency Exams and have coached 8 adults who were preparing for their IELTS and CELPIP.

I have a strong command over courses in Business including Intermediate Finance, Advanced and Corportae Finance, Intermediate Accounting and other non-Math based business courses.

More recently, I have been busy authoring a book on Business Analysis and training professionals on how to establish a career as a Business Analyst.

Tutoring Approach:

I don`t believe in wrote-memorization and never appreciate mugging the source material. I am strictly against corporal punishment to force students to cram their textbooks as I believe force can never give desirable results. I have my own interactive way of teaching, which makes the task enjoyable and help students in improving their retention power. In the first two sessions, I assess the person’s strengths and competencies while mapping them with areas for improvement. I will either help the person with their school/personal homework and/or bring additional exercises to have them gain confidence in the subject. The session is tailored to the needs of the child and/or the adult.
