Personal Description:

I am able to help students of several different ages with essential math skills. I have strive to be patient and kind as students learn. I like to lead engaging sessions that are focused on the most important skills and material for the particular student. I am a math tutor who is able to utilize a number of goal-oriented techniques to help students maximize their time.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in International Studies and Political Science. I am currently studying Public Administration. I have spent over three years at non-profit institutions that focus on education.

Tutoring Approach:

Because different students have different needs, I believe that it is the job of a math tutor to start from and understanding of each learner's strengths and weaknesses. Afterwards, I make a plan that accommodates where they are in their abilities while helping them move toward their goals. This plan remains flexible to the student's needs throughout our time together.
