Personal Description:

I am a fun creative individual with a passion for discovering new places and learning new things. I grew up in the UK and I have an Undergraduate Degree in English Literature and Language from Oxford University and a Masters Degree from the Courtauld Institute in Art History. When I am not tutoring I work in the Film Industry in Vancouver Directing and Producing Documentaries on a huge range of subjects including Architecture, Science, Conservation and the Environment, History and Current Affairs.

Tutoring Experience:

I have extensive experience teaching essay-based subjects including English, History, Religious Studies, Philosophy and Exam prep. I am also experienced teaching younger kids general homework help, making learning fun and engaging kids in hands on creative ways. I spent a number of years working for Oxbridge Applications, a tutoring company that supports students through the University application process helping with personal statements, entrance exams and interview techniques.

Tutoring Approach:

I love approaching learning with a creative cross subject approach. I love combining mediums and subjects to teach students new skills in engaging ways. I believe all students are capable of autonomous intelligence and all students learn in different ways. I love working with students to tailor their programme to their specific learning needs and figure out what makes them tick.
