Personal Description:

I understand how not being able to understand a topic can be frustrating so I will explain things to my students in as many different ways as necessary for them to gain a thorough understanding. As a biology tutor, I know that sometimes concepts seem too abstract to students, so I make sure to relate each idea to the student's real world.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I enjoy learning and get a great sense of satisfaction from mastering a new topic. It is my goal to pass that on to my students. I am available to tutor students of all ages in their biology courses and can also tutor students in their IB Biology courses.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that asking for help is a sign of intelligence and that it's natural not to understand a topic the first time a student learns about it. I strive to discover each student's preferred learning style, even if they do not know what it is. I prefer to address topics by explaining them rather than just having students memorize facts.
