Personal Description:

Hi there,

My name is Katie **Removed By Admin**, I have a strong background in sciences (grade 12), human sciences (all levels to university) and physical education (all levels). I am a recent graduate of the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program and I hold a Bachelors of Kinesiology and Physical education. On top of my academic credentials I hold a coaching certificate in swimming with over 12 years of coaching experience, a 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate, over 8 years of personal training experience, and additional training in meditation and mental wellness. My strong background in coaching and physical education allows me to identify strengths and areas of improvement with ease for each student, and allow me motivate them on their journey to success.

Tutoring Experience:

Throughout my undergraduate career I was a member of the accessible learning services centre, helping my peers succeed in their studies. I have helped to tutor my peers in classes throughout my educational career by breaking down course content into easy to digest pieces.

Tutoring Approach:

I am compassionate and intuitive with each student that I tutor, allowing me to develop strategies and tools that are specific to each individual to promote success. I am a strong believer in meeting each student where they are at, and helping them to build confidence in their course content to see their academic potential.
