Personal Description:

My name is Kaitie and I am a student at the University of Saskatchewan studying history. I have a passion for theatre and the arts. I am very active in my local theatre and dance community and I especially love working with young artists. My academic strengths would be my language arts skills including research, essay writing and editing, and exam prep. I am also proficient with high school level chemistry. I strongly believe that through proper organization and work ethic, even the most daunting papers can come together seamlessly.
I was in the French Immersion program for elementary and high school, and I graduated high school with a bilingual diploma. My French language skills are very strong, and I have a great appreciation for french literature. I studied French at the university level for 1 year. I would love to help with literature analysis, writing and editing papers, and general grammar and vocabulary skills.

Vocal coach at Sask Express Musical Theatre Studio (2018 - Present)

Tutoring Approach:

Flexible, modifying approach per student as required. The ultimate goal is to outfit each student with the knowledge and techniques required for them to be able to confidently complete their assignments on their own. We will focus on building healthy study habits, problem-solving, and organization as we work through coursework. I may also provide supplementary practice assignments to complement the lesson should they be required. These would be low stress and the grade won't be important, but they may be helpful to fully understand concepts.
