Personal Description:

I currently teach in an amorphous district that caters to students who struggle academically. I have learned through this experience that every student is unique and learns through different methods. I am a biology tutor who can help with anything from the biology basics through college biology concepts. I love science and believe that the right tutor will explain science in a fun and engaging way, which I strive to do.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in special education for students in grades 7 through 12. After graduating, I joined a volunteer teaching organization and have been teaching for four years. I have experience working with students of all ages and abilities.

Tutoring Approach:

I encourage my students to ask any questions they have and to feel comfortable making and learning from mistakes. I strive to make the tutoring sessions a safe place for students to open up and be themselves.
