Personal Description:

I am very personable, a characteristic that I believe will make me an excellent biology tutor. I won a teaching award for exceptional performance as a TA. I make sure that my students are having a good time while they learn. I enjoy laughing and joking with them while making sure they stay on track. I am comfortable working with students of all ages and abilities.

Tutoring Experience:

I recently graduated with a master's degree in chemistry. I also have a bachelor's degree in chemistry… I earned a 34 on the ACT Science. I worked as a TA at university and also worked as a high school tutor during this time.

Tutoring Approach:

I break down complex concepts into simple, easier-to-understand parts. I also get to know my student's goals and why they are seeking help. I know that every student has a unique learning style, so I figure out what works best for each individual.
