Personal Description:

I am enthusiastic about teaching and research, and I am always happy to be able to explain a challenging idea to somebody who has not yet understood it. I am a physics tutor to both high school and college students and I love sharing the various physics theories with my students.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics. I went on from there to earn my Master of Science in Applied Physics and am now working towards my Ph.D. I have four years of experience as a physics tutor and three years of experience as a physics teacher at the college level.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a good physics tutor doesn't simply put concepts into equations to be solved. I actually have students write out the verbal description of the equations so they can recall what the equations mean when they review their notes. Once I develop a rapport with a new student, I find out their background in physics and where I can be of most assistance to them.
