Personal Description:

I focus on building connections with my tutees so that I can build a relationship with them, make them feel safe, valued and can tailor my tutoring to their interests and needs. I am enthusiastic, passionate and will work hard for my tutees - often putting in a lot of time to create personalized materials to suit their needs and interests. I make it a priority to work on building the confidence and self-esteem of my tutees.

Tutoring Experience:

7 years of private tutoring experience.
My teaching experience started in South Wales, in a large secondary school. I taught KS3-KS5 for 4 years until I moved to Canada.
I have been working in the Manitoban education system since 2017.
Currently, I work as a Middle Years and High School ELA teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

Modeling- Providing examples and discussing the piece
