Personal Description:

I am a chemistry tutor who has always had a passion for learning, especially in the field of science. I have experience working with students of all backgrounds and abilities. I have the patience and understanding needed to help students who are struggling with comprehending concepts that they find difficult.

Tutoring Experience:

I received both my undergraduate and doctoral degrees in Materials Science and Engineering. I also have experience as a high school chemistry tutor. I have tutored students in math in both basic and advanced algebra as well as calculus. I have also assisted students with SAT prep and college applications.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that every student learns differently. Therefore, my approach to being a chemistry tutor is to use patience and gentle guidance to help them to understand concepts that they have difficulty with. I use a student's own interests and curiosity to make the material more appealing to keep them engaged.
