Personal Description:

I am currently working as a middle school teacher, but I miss one-on-one interaction with students. I believe that a good tutor knows the material well and can teach it to keep the student engaged. I am an English tutor with more than four years of tutoring experience with students of all ages.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in special education. I have also worked for a tutoring company helping students from kindergarten through twelfth grade with language arts. I am available to help with anything from grammar and syntax to literature and college English.

Tutoring Approach:

I understand that no two students think alike. Therefore, I am familiar with many different teaching methods and take the time to find the one that works for each of my students. I also understand that learning takes time and is difficult at times, so I encourage my students to take brain breaks to avoid burnout.
