Personal Description:

I am a Certified Ontario Teacher employed by SCDSB for 6+ years. I am also a professional artist, practicing my art at every opportunity I get. I have done a good deal of traveling in Europe while I lived and taught in England and I love the outdoors, spending my free time with family up north on the lake. I am also a huge Harry Potter nerd and a seeker of magic in the everyday.
As of last spring I became a new mom to a happy little man and am enjoying the adventure of motherhood.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been professionally teaching for 8+ years. One year spent in England teaching early years and 7 years with SCDSB teaching grades JK-8 in a variety of subjects. I was also apart of a Special Education team for 1.5 years.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is that every person/child is different. I believe it is important to teach to everyones unique interests and skills and so therefore it is key to first seek out how best each individual learns.
