Personal Description:

I have a detailed grasp of organic chemistry, as well as microbiology, genetics and analytical chemistry. Through my Bachelor's degree, I also gained knowledge of inorganic chemistry, biochemistry and mathematics. I also have basic understanding of physics, computer science and general biology.

Tutoring Experience:

I have 2 years of experience teaching first year university chemistry labs. I also volunteered for 2 semesters in the Chemistry Help Center, a student driven initiative to provide accessible tutoring to struggling students. I have tutored people studying for the MCAT, and for organics chemistry.

Tutoring Approach:

I work towards deeper understanding of the source material, with in depth explanations of the background information as well as the source material. Asking questions is encouraged. I am also skilled in explaining concepts in different ways to aid in understanding.
