I am an experienced teacher - with 15 years teaching everything from JK - grade 8. I have taught math, English, history, geography and the Arts. I love working with kids in a small setting so they can really shine!
Tutoring Experience:
Teaching - 10 yrs gr 8 math, English, the Arts, History and Geography
5 yrs - Kindergarten Arts and English
Tutoring Approach:
I think kids need to be engaged to learn - you can have the best lesson in the world but if no one is listening… what does it matter? I try to make my lessons vibrant, entertaining and suited to the students’ particular learning style.
