Personal Description:

Growing up, my experiences in school gave me an appreciation for the dramatic difference the right teacher can make for a student. After my displacement due to a hurricane, I had the opportunity to learn from an exceptional physical science teacher who challenged and inspired me in a way I'd never experienced. I became excited about learning and academic achievement.

Tutoring Experience:

I went on to earn my undergraduate degree in physics. My passion for teaching and learning increased throughout my collegiate studies. My teaching experience in middle schools and high schools has shown me the stark opportunity gap that still exists throughout the country. Combined with my personal experience I feel compelled to help students which has led to my choice to become a physics tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that while all students learn differently, they are all able to learn. I use a variety of teaching methodologies to inspire and help each of my students work towards their learning goals.
