Personal Description:

I tutor students who are getting their first taste of the subject in Latin 1, as well as students who have advanced to Latin 4, and everyone in between. If you are studying Latin because you are going into medicine, law, or just have an interest in languages, I am ready to work with you!

Tutoring Experience:

I have more than thirty years of tutoring experience, as both an English and Latin tutor. I began my post-secondary education as an English major, earning a BS in English. From there I went on to study Latin at the gradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel, earning a Master of Arts in the language.

Tutoring Approach:

When it comes to working with students, I believe in finding the right balance between motivation, engagement, and challenge. Sessions with me can often take the form of a dialogue, driven by questions that I pose to my student. The purpose is to get the student engaged with the material.
