Personal Description:

Currently, I tutor in adult literacy for the **Removed By Admin** and have been with them for six years. I also tutor in English and Creative Writing since 2011, as a private tutor. I have earned both certificates in Creative Writing and Communications, and at the moment I conduct walking tours of the history of Toronto. Just two years ago I took the film program at George Brown College and wrote and produced my first short film. I am a horror writer and currently working on a feature script of historical interest.

Tutoring Experience:

As mentioned above I currently tutor adults in the **Removed By Admin**and have been with them for 6 years. I have also taught creative writing on and off with the library as a volunteer with the writer's program. I have mentored and advised clients to get healthy and have taught physical fitness as a personal trainer, about ten years ago, to private clients. I am very comfortable in front of a classroom or working with individuals as well.

Tutoring Approach:

All tutoring approaches are different. I prefer to take time to understand how the client learns and then to put together a plan of action that will accomplish their goals. Learning can be an adventure, but it is work and I understand the process. It can be frustrating, but it can also be overcome. I favor the one-step approach and not to overwhelm the client. Learning comes with time and practice.
