Personal Description:

I am a student at King's University College in London. I am pursuing an Honours Double Major in English Language and Literature and French Language and Literature. I love helping people with their reading and writing skills! I believe English classes teach students to read deeply, think critically, formulate a comprehensive response, and present it eloquently. It is my pleasure to help students get the most out of their English classes.

Tutoring Experience:

I have done some volunteer tutoring with the King's writing help recourse, The Write Place. I have also worked as a ski instructor and in customer service. I believe both of these experiences will serve me well as a tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is to encourage the creative process. I am happy to work with the student in whichever way they work and learn best, whether that is creating a visual mind map of ideas or talking through the work together. I help students learn what process works best for them, and how to analyze text for every subtlety and nuance that can further their understanding.
