Personal Description:

I am a BC certified math teacher and tutor that has been teaching and tutoring for over 10 years.

Tutoring Experience:

I have extensive knowledge with the BC curriculum and know exactly what prescribed learning outcomes each grade level is required to learn. I can re-teach concepts learned in class, review prior skills and teach new concepts. All of my students notice a huge improvement in their overall understanding of math. Rather than trying to teach memorization, I look at teaching the "why" behind the math.

Tutoring Approach:

I have tutored several students with learning disabilities.I assess the level the student is currently working at and build their skills from there.
