Personal Description:

I am a 4th year Civil Engineering student currently attending Dalhousie University pursuing my Bachelors in Engineering. Mathematics and Physics are two areas which I enjoy doing. I like helping people and spreading my knowledge to those who are in need. I am a very easy going person who is looking for a good way to utilize my spare time during my studies.

Tutoring Experience:

I am excited about my first tutoring experience who will try to make learning fun and easy for my students. I have helped other peers with their assignments and preparations for their midterms and final exams. I plan to work with a small group of students so that each person can get required attention for success.

Tutoring Approach:

I like helping children by breaking down complex problems into simple steps to make learning easier. I believe that working closely with students and doing example problems is definitely beneficial to the learning process. Additionally, focussing on areas of weakness will help students learn from their mistakes. Using the whiteboard as well as guiding students through each step is essential in my teaching process. I will also be really focusing on corrections because it is important for student to learn from their mistakes.
