Personal Description:

I am currently a grade 10 student. I have received the "most outstanding female student of the year award" in grade 7 and grade 9. I have also received awards in all my core classes through-out junior high and have been involved in various different school athletic teams in the past. I am a member of my high-school's wellness team and also our badminton team. I love working with younger kids and love volunteering at the library during my free time.

Tutoring Experience:

I haven't done professional tutoring in the past but have volunteered for various programs at the Calgary Public Library. I've volunteered for Math Quest where we help kids aged 6-12 complete math challenges around the library. I've also volunteered with the English Language Learning School Success program where my role was to help a student improve their reading skills. I often tutor my friends with grade 10 math currently and have also tutored younger siblings in the past with learning how to read and write.

Tutoring Approach:

Every student has different learning techniques, therefore depending on how they learn better, tutoring will be provided in that manner. For some students, it is easier to understand concepts using visuals, while for others, computation works better.
