Personal Description:

Bonjour! Hello!

My name is Fezzy and I have been living in British Columbia for a little under three years and before that I was in Ontario. I have a background in Business Administration, Financial Services, Customer Service Management and Political Science.

I was fortunate enough to be admitted into Extended French where I was given the tools and resources to attended York University's bilingual campus, Glendon College and work in settings with Francophones and Anglophones.

Through Canada's Explore Program, I had the opportunity of completing the Certified French Immersion Course at the University of Victoria in 2013. I graduated from L'Amoreaux C.I. 's Extended French Program in 2012 and from George Brown’s Business Administration program in 2017 with a keen focus on Project Management.

Please be advised that given the current climate I am only offering online tutoring sessions at the moment.

Tutoring Experience:

In high school, university and college I worked with children on their reading comprehension and learning strategies after school.

For four years I was an active Youth Coordinator for a community centre in Toronto where I would organize, host, and direct workshops and presentations.

Tutoring Approach:

Whether one on one or two to one, I adjust the tutoring session to fit the needs, styles, and preferences of my students. I use books, manipulatives, activities, and other tools to engage kids and make the learning process fun.

I dedicate time to working on strategies for listening, speaking, reading, and writing to help students become more successful and confident in and out of the classroom.

My teaching focus is heavily interactive, fun and engaging.
