Quantitative analytics professional with 2 years' experience as a risk and trading analyst and to years' experience as a robotics applications engineer.

Tutoring Experience:

Have tutored math at high school level and both Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Statistics to an audience of bachelors students in Mechanical Engineering.

Tutoring Approach:

I combine my own deep understanding of the materials with the learning approach described by Dr. Barbara Oakley and Dr. Terrance Sejnowski of UC San Diego in the free Coursera course, "Learning How to Learn: Powerful mental tools to help you master tough subjects." Often the student is struggling not because they're bad at the subject or not trying hard enough, but because their approach to studying and learning is wrong. I guide students to improve their learning habits.
