Personal Description:

I am an enthusiastic and empathetic person who is able to meet students where they are in order to help them get to the next level. I enjoy reading and writing, music, and community engagement. I have a Bachelor's Degree from MacEwan University in English and Psychology an Education Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alberta with a Major in English Language Arts.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a certified teacher since February 2018. My experience includes working as a substitute from Kindergarten to High School in all subject areas. I have covered two extended leaves at the Junior High Level teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies.

Tutoring Approach:

My goal is to help my students develop stronger study habits, organizational and written communication skills. I hope to engage my students by making material relevant for them both in their interests and in their level of development.
