Personal Description:
I am currently pursuing Doctoral studies in Child/Adolescent Psychology at the University of Sherbrooke - Campus Longueuil. I am highly motivated and very dedicated to my students.
Tutoring Experience:
-Over 2,500 hours of experience working alongside various types of youth clien**Contact Detail Removed** (high potential, dropout, autism, learning disabilities, etc.)
-Successfully tutored 8 students in Primary/Secondary (French/English)
-Volunteer tutor at the Cegep level (English)
-Teaching assistant for 4 different classes in psychology at the University level
-Taught 6 classes in neuropsychology to a group of secondary students
Tutoring Approach:
I believe in creating a stimulating learning environment where the student is free to ask any question without judgment, understanding that making mistakes is okay and learning from them.
I also believe in using various techniques adapted to the student's style of learning. For example, inquiry-based learning can be useful in instances where students may require a more hands-on approach.
I'm always eager to help out in any way I can and to teach students to overcome any obstacles that they may encounter.
