Personal Description:

I have a passion for English, Reading and Writing! I have a Bachelors of Arts in History, my second favourite subject to English, with a Minor in Psychology. I have previously worked as a Legal Assistant for over 4 years which I chose because of my love for reading and writing and learning. I now work as clerk with the Winnipeg School Division. Being able to master comprehension and expression skills not only helps you to succeed in your chosen profession but to also excel on the world stage as you interact with different projects and people in the professional sense. I immigrated to Canada from Jamaica 8 years ago and found that these skills have greatly assisted me more than anything else in assimilating into this country and it is my desire to do the help others in doing so as well…

Religious Studies at Church to children and teens.

Tutoring Approach:

Interactive-so the student can feel comfortable in expressing their week areas so we can work on that but also to display their stronger points so I can provide the positive reinforcement needed to build confidence.
Individualistic- which means my method is adapted according to the pace and temperament of the student because the goal is not only to satisfy my lesson plans but to ensure that each student is actually learning effectively.
