Personal Description:

I am a tutor who is able to help students through using a variety of physics topics. I have experience working with special education students, and this experience informs my work as a physics tutor. I am able to use different teaching techniques to accommodate the needs of a particular student. As a physics tutor, I work to scaffold a student's knowledge from basic skills to more difficult concepts.

Tutoring Experience:

I am working towards a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. I can work as a tutor for most math and science courses as well as introductory-level engineering courses. I tutored fellow students throughout high school.

Tutoring Approach:

I start by figuring out a student's current level of knowledge. Based on their needs, I make decisions about pacing and teaching style. I take the time to simplify complex concepts so that students truly understand the component parts of a particular idea or skill.
