Personal Description:

My name is Elizabeth and I'm 28 years old. I am a language student and have spent the last few years studying French and Spanish, with a focus on French. I'm currently enrolled at UQTR in the EIF (Ecole Internationale de Francais) program and living in Trois-Rivieres to study, adapt, and be immersed in Quebecois culture. My family is originally from Gaspe, which is probably why I've focused on French, although the majority of my family doesn't speak it. I've done a lot of travelling and I always love to learn about the places I go from a local perspective.

Tutoring Experience:

In ontario I've helped tutor young students with some of their French Immersion courses and I spent six months in Costa Rica teaching English as a second language, so I have experience with tutoring/teaching in general as well as English, specifically - besides being an anglophone myself.

Tutoring Approach:

I really try to get to know the needs of the student and the goals they hope or need to achieve before adapting my approach to them.
